Renovation of an apartment in the historic centre of Bormio with new insulation and a new interior envelope created using “dry” technologies.
As often happens in this period, many customers decide to renovate their apartments or villas by taking advantage of the various government incentives. In this case, the work was carried out - and has already been completed - on a residential property, using the government incentives relating to the 50% BonusCasa and 65% EcoBonus.
The flat is located in the heart of the historic centre of Bormio.
The project involved modifying/updating the internal partitions of the flat, its thermal/energy characteristics (i.e. the systems) and the finishes.
A drywall system was chosen for the partitions and false ceiling; the false ceiling and perimeter false walls were filled with insulation, specifically rock wool, to better insulate the flat.
The systems were concealed within the flooring, specifically within the concrete slab immediately below the flooring, and in the false ceiling.
To better evaluate the different stages of construction, thanks to the photos above, we can appreciate, the comparison between the bedroom after completing the partitions (plasterboard) and immediately after installing the finishes and windows.
The final result is extremely clean and elegant, with no exposed wiring and with simple but high-quality finishes (rough white for the walls, parquet flooring for the living room and bedroom, grey textured porcelain tiles for the bathroom). As already mentioned, the work has been successfully completed and the flat is now happily occupied by its owners.
