Renovation of a residential building to improve energy performance with refurbishment of the external insulation and replacement of the roof.
Specifically, a standard EPS external thermal insulation system was installed, with some parts in Aeropan® (an insulating material capable of significantly reducing energy loss using a very limited amount of space). The image below shows the state of the building before the work was carried out.
The materials were laid using scaffolding installed around the entire perimeter of the building, which was necessary to complete all aspects of the construction project.
The replacement of the roof also involved the construction of a structural reinforcement curb at the top. Here is a photo taken during the work.
